New material shared space
National-level shared space has an architectural area of 120000 m2. It is constructed and developed in the mode of “research and development+creator+incubation+investment”. It has gathered a batch of creators and creator teams, succeeded in introducing over 40 scientific research institutions and industrialized projects in the new material field, such as University of Nottingham Ningbo New Material Research Institute, Ningbo Laser Intelligent Innovative Material Research Institute, PI Membrane High-performance Material Research Center, OLED Material Research and Industrialized Project, 3D Topspeed Production Industrialization Project, Nanometer Energy Conservation Photoelectric Material Industrialized Project.

Innovation Complex of New Material Industry has a covered area of about 430000 m2, including research and development building, innovation and entrepreneurship building, headquarter base, business hotel, decorated apartment, supporting business and so on. It will be forged into the typical park with science-industry-city integration, and the world famous new material technology innovation center.

Ningbo Joint Academy of New Materials
It is the new material industry-university-research collaborative innovation platform established by Ningbo New Material Science and Technology City, Ningbo Branch of Weapon Science Academy and Ningbo Institute of Industrial Technology, CAS jointly. The Academy is located in Guisi Plot in the north area of the Science & technology city. The schemed floor area is 1000mu. The 78 mu in the first scheme is planned to start construction at the end of 2018. At present, it has 80 staffs, 317 sets(units) of devices and over RMB 100 million of the original device value. It is estimated to build the “livable and entrepreneurial” new material innovation platform in five years.
