Data shows that last year, Ningbo added 71425 granted patents, a year-on-year increase of 11.41%, far exceeding the provincial average level (4.97%). Among them, the number of authorized invention patents reached 12593, a year-on-year increase of 34.37%. As innovative entities, enterprises play a crucial role in this wave of innovation. Last year, the proportion of enterprise invention patent authorizations reached 88.25%, with a total of 11113 authorizations, a year-on-year increase of 44.29%; The number of enterprises with authorized invention patents has reached 3587, a year-on-year increase of 32.70%, and the innovation vitality continues to rise.

From the perspective of the top ten patentees in terms of the number of invention patents granted, Ningbo Fotile Kitchen Ware Co., Ltd. leads the list with 871 patents, marking a year-on-year increase of 109.88%. Companies such as Self Electronics Co., Ltd., Ningbo Sunny Automotive Optech Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Sunny Optical Co., Ltd. have also seen their invention patent grants grow by more than 100%, demonstrating robust momentum in innovation. The Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, ranks fifth with 348 invention patents granted, while Ningbo University secures the sixth position with 284 patents.
