Recently, it was learned from the municipal landscaping department that in order to welcome the 2025 Spring Festival, the city's landscaping industry has launched four major types of green landscape arrangements at more than 130 locations in the urban area, with a total of 1.8 million pots (plants) of various flowers and plants arranged. A series of colorful garden experience projects have been carefully designed and launched to create a festive atmosphere and a natural and interesting New Year environment for citizens.

In areas with high traffic such as important city windows, gateway areas, and key parks (squares), the landscaping department has carefully created 28 sets of landscape ornaments.

26 parks including Sun Lake Park and Yinzhou Park are filled with the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year. At the main entrance of Moon Lake Park, there are exquisite Chinese knots and lantern decorations, with auspicious Spring Festival couplets hanging on both sides. The sculptures and trees in the children's park are dressed in new clothes, and the park is decorated with twisted snakes, large Chinese knots, and 1680 lanterns, lucky bags, and other decorations, creating a festive atmosphere.

More than 60 main and secondary roads in the urban area, including Zhongshan Road, Baizhang Road, Heyi Avenue, and Jiefang Road, have been decorated with flowers, adding beautiful scenery to the city. In the central isolation zone of Zhongshan Road and the flower boxes on both sides, flowers such as dwarf morning glory, goldfish grass, and horn violet are well-arranged, forming a colorful flower belt. The flower beds on both sides of the road are mainly shaped with large flowers, with evergreen shrubs as the background to enhance the layers.

It is reported that during the Spring Festival, more than 20 colorful park activities will be held in 9 parks in Ningbo. Ningbo Botanical Garden will launch a Spring Lantern Festival, where citizens and tourists can enjoy a series of exciting performances such as fish lantern parades, flying phoenixes, iron flower making, wind and fire wheels. The children's park will hold insect science exhibitions, Chinese New Year markets, parent-child park parties, turtle and snake science exhibitions and other activities.
